Introduction

I’ve kept this section short and to the point because, in my experience, no amount of online content can adequately replace direct, personalized interaction with a qualified immigra-
tion lawyer. This is simply because immigration is an incredibly complex field where the motivations behind seeking a second citizenship play a vital role in selecting the best destina-
tion. Each destination has its own advantages and disadvantages which need to be finely balanced according to a personalized evaluation of one’s lifestyle, resources and long-term
goals.

My international team and I have a combined experience of well over 100 years and treat immigration law as one of our core practice areas. Aside from carrying out the actual appli-
cation procedures for our clients, a central focus of our practice has always been working with clients to first find the “perfect fit” when choosing a second citizenship.

If you are interested in gaining a second citizenship, then I encourage you to contact me for a detailed evaluation of your situation and my suggestions on which destination would be
best for you and your family.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

The United States has long been one of the most desired destinations for migrants and
investors from the world over. The principle route for American citizenship by investment is
under the EB-5 program which can lead to a Green Card in a relatively short period of
time. Unlike many other options listed on this page, the American program is particularly
demanding and requires a considerable amount of due diligence on the part of the inves-
tor. This is because the purchase of property alone will not qualify you for a Green Card
under the EB-5 program.
Rather, you must actively participate in substantial investments which are known to be of
moderate to high risk. Accordingly, a great deal of research is necessary to help assure
the success of the investment and the eventual granting of American residence status.
